Hello from AutoVolt Magazine

Hello to all Twizy owners,

As Editor and Motoring Writer at AutoVolt Magazine](http://www.autovolt-magazine.com), I joined this site to find out from you - the owners of Twizy (and other electric cars) - how you’re getting along with your purchases and electric car ownership.

A little about me, my background is in Graphic Design and of course, cars. For my entire life I’ve been surrounded by cars and most cars I’ve owned have been electric - though it should be noted that statement does include Scalextric! This year marks the start of an exciting venture; the creation of a new and independent magazine all about electric cars; AutoVolt Magazine](http://www.autovolt-magazine.com).

I look forward to reading Twizy stories on this site and, most likely as time moves on, other electric car stories that follow.

Happy Twizing,

J Musk

PS. No relation to Elon… so far as I know!*[/size]

Must say when I first saw the name, I thought it was Elon sending one of his clan to spy on us Twizy owners ie until I came to your ps. Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Tesla, just in case some people don’t know.
Anyway, welcome. Congrats on your new venture. What do you want us to talk about. EVs in general or Twizy specific.

Thank you for the warm welcome and congratulations.

Haha, that would have been interesting, to be a spy for Tesla on a Twizy forum, but alas it is untrue.

In answer to your question; both. As a magazine we’re interested in all things EV, from production cars to home specials and of course being the website that this is, the Twizy too. I’ll be posting another thread shortly with a more specific idea regarding an article on the Twizy, so would particularly like to hear from anybody based in Hertfordshire but other locations too.

All the best,

Jonathan

Good way to introduce your mag/website to us all. I have registered and I must say I am impressed. Keep up the good work.

Thank you askho, pleased you approve  The site is updated daily and I’d recommend using the AutoVolt on Google Currents](http://goo.gl/xNshG) feature if you have either an iOS or Android phone/tablet.

Welcome along, hopefully you will find out everything about the Twizy here, don’t listen to Mender though , he works for Perodua

:lol::lol::cool:

I have a twizy story for you
I live in germany (in Rostock) and me and my girlfriend drove the twizy to scotland. On the picture you can see the twizy at the most notherly point of mainland britain (Dunnet Head). Trip was 3000 km long or so. I didnt manage to write a story about it yet.

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS !!! I would love to hear the story.

That sounds like a fantastic journey! I’m sure that many people, particularly on this forum, would love to hear your experiences. What a great acheivment in a car with only a limited range!

In scotland’s highlands you had to keep an eye on the range
We are already planning our next trip, it will probably go through norway and sweden up to the Nordkap. But this time we will probably put a small trailer behind the twizy. Two people and all luggage in a stock version without any extensions was an interesting experience but… well, we try the trailer this time.

A little teaser untill i am done with writing the story.

Can’t wait to read your story!!

Likewise, great photo!

I am pleased to be able to update this thread with the latest news that our first magazine issue has been released on the 4th July and **is available now on [Magzter[/B] in digital format (in all the app stores) and in print via Magcloud](“http://goo.gl/Ihxb1J”) too.

It would be great to hear your views and feedback on the magazine, as of course influence and critique are what make things evolve to be better. The main aim is to bring awareness and interest to all and as AutoVolt is the only magazine dedicated to the subject of EVs and hybrids in the UK, it gives a provides a focal point to the subject. My aspiration is the magazine develops into a resource and authority in an otherwise petrol/diesel biased media.
