OSRAM Cool Blue Intense Bulbs

The bulbs in the Twizy are actually pretty decent, but I prefer a white look vs the yellow tinge.
Last night I took the front light housing out and gave them a good clean (the difference is amazing) and fitted the OSRAM Cool Blue Intense bulbs.

I am really happy with the results, so money well spent.
Just thought I would share.

Was it easy to change to the Osram bulbs?

Yes very easy, the process is also defined in the user manual.
Remove the front facia (it just clips ons), remove 3 screws with springs per side, pop it out and change the bulbs.
Takes less than 30 mins

Dale. Can you send me a link to the bulbs please… and I’ll do the same. Cheers

Amazon has best prices from what I could tell.

If you want to brighten the number plate bulbs, might want to order another pack of the sidelights, as I believe they are the same. I bought them just not fitted yet.

It’s been a long time ago that I emoved the headlamps, but I bet I remembered to NOT use the screws with the springs behind it. Those screws are meant to adjust the beam. You’ll find three outher screws to remove the headlamp.

Tip 1: if you pulled the facia off and can’t find the middle clip afterwards, look in the footwell  Thats why i used kit to glue the clip to the facia.

Tip 2: use vasalinespray to all clips. Especially the plastic ones around the Twizy are prone to break otherwise.

Interesting I didnt see any other screws, but I marked the light pattern on the wall and adjusted after, didnt realise (even using the manual) there was an alternative.

I had the front panel off again to route some cables, and now I see the other screws where you take take out the light assembly vs the bulb, handy for future use.
